We need your help to make the Wood Buffalo 2022 Arctic Winter Games a success! We anticipate a need for 2,000 volunteers during Games time.
Take part in this world class international event and help leave a lasting legacy in our community by volunteering on March 6-12, 2022.
Each volunteer will be required to abide by the Host Society’s Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest and Volunteer Policy. Volunteers will also need to attend a general orientation session, role specific training and clothing and accreditation pick-up, prior to Games Time.
All roles will be required to complete a Criminal Record Check and roles that interact with athletes will be required to take additional security measures including a Vulnerable Sector Check.

All Games-time volunteers, in alignment with the Volunteer policy, will receive a uniform package,
general orientation and role-specific training and recognition at ceremonies.
Volunteering with the games also includes social opportunities including invitations to volunteer events and the final Volunteer Celebration!
